Ohm Meter+USP WIRE
- So this product has a few issues, let me get down to it. First taking it out the bottom plate fell off, guessing the glue wore off, no big deal. Everything else worked great, the Ohm reader I noticed was .03-.04 Ohms higher from actual coil resistance. So i figured whatever I build I subtract .04 from my coil, again not a big deal but just thought I would share that.
However, the first week or so the voltage meter worked great, but then just the other day I wanted to check the voltage on a battery I purchased (Sony VTC4) and as soon as I discharged it with my nemesis, the volt meter gave some weird number and the tube instantly got super freakin hot and scared the crap outta me. I took it out and the battery was extremely hot! I have no freakin clue what just happened. Sooo being the curious guy that I am I tested with my LGHe2 battery and with just one pulse (less than a second) the same thing happened and got extremely hot! The volt meter didn't show a number this time.
So, with all that I say BE CAREFUL because I imagine a couple pulses or seconds holding down the firing pin and those suckers would start to vent or worse. Now I don't even know if I can use those batteries or if they are screwed.... there goes almost $30 in legit batteries .... sigh
- Ohm reader, microUSB
- VOLT METER!
- more than 4 year(s)
- Does what it says and seems to be fairly accurate, you may have an issue testing voltage with some mods due to placement of the posts
- top plate is wobbly on mine but i assume that is a fluke as my buddys is fine
