I liked it when I first got it but found it would get stuck on my mods and I had trouble getting it off several times and off of several different mods. Finally, it got stuck on my Fuhattan and there is nothing I can do to get it off so it's now part of my Fuhattan forever. I had to buy a new Fuhattan so I could use my other atomizers on it. Fuhattans are my favorite mech mods at this point. I like that I could take the juice tank off the build deck but that's really the only thing I like about it. The build pins are weird but easy enough to build, however, I found it wasn't a hard hitting atomizer. Flavor is good but not great. Even if I didn't have the sticking problem, I would never buy one again. I should add that it hit better in hybrid mode.
I've been excited about the V2 since I came across the youtube vids by the maker. That said I wanted a 1:1 to play with before I dropped the cash on an authentic, sounds backwards I know but if the clone is halfway decent then its worth getting the real thing to me. Shipping was fast and I couldn't wait to coil/wick it up and vape it.
It was received with the SS tank installed and I like to see my juice so I swapped out the SS for the clear tank, I started to fill it up with a needle point bottle and found that 3 of the 4 holes where blocked with machining residue. At that point I stopped, disassembled all of the parts and put them in a UC for 30 min. So after cleaning I tried the setup again with the clear tank using 28ga 7 wrap dual coil for .9/.8 ohm setup. Since I took the time to review the vids, I followed the wicking and assembled the tank. When I turned the tank right side up and started to adjust the air flow it started leaking so I flipped it upside down, removed the tank to inspect the o-rings. Too damn small so I stepped up the size and tried it again, no leaking! I found that if I have the airflow wide open I get minor wobble of the upper section so I closed it a hair and all is good now. Still have plenty of airflow for this type of tank and outstanding flavor. As stated by another reviewer here I don't recommend anything over 70/30 vg/pg and for me it 60/40.
Next came the dripper mode so I turned the tank upside down, unscrewed it and popped on the dripper section which was easy enough. I tried to use the plug screws which are suppose to block the air holes under the coils and they don't fit. Ok I continue and I pack a thin layer of cotton around the circumference of the inside to the point where it was touching the wicking in the channels and topped it off. Once minor issues were resolved I went through almost 5ml of liquid and was very pleased with both flavor and vapor production... nice and thick!
I then tried the hybrid connections on a couple of my 20x1 mods and the initial fit was perfect until I tried to add a battery. No matter how I tried to adjust either the mod or the V2 I could not get a snug fit with the batteries I user (LG-HE2 or Efest) flat tops. If I use this tank in hybrid mode I have to live with a small gap either between the mode and tank or between my fire button and tube... not! I then tried using the short hybrid cap and guess what, it's not threaded so it's useless! In short no hybrid action for me! With the exception of the issues with the machining, o-rings and hybrid connection, I've been very pleased with the performance of the tank and dripper mode option. I just have to be mindful of not over dripping which brings up one more point. You will need to remove the off center topcap when you drip to make sure both coils get saturated or not if you only do single coil setups. Once you get it set up in either mode you'll love the performance.
This is a nice tank. The first build I used too little cotton which resulted in flooding and some cotton getting over the airhole. The results sucked. I put it in RDA mode and it was OK but honestly, my other RDAs work better for that work (plume veil, MXV2, Mutilator, etc). The next night I reworked my cotton, sort of filled the channels and made sure the airholes were clear. Night and day difference.
If you owned the first one, you'll really like this one. Everything you didnt like about the first one, this one takes care of. I would have stuck with the first one, but it broke. This one makes it easier to build and fill.
This RTA is overall a great one. On a scale of 1-10 The GOBLIN being the 10 at this time, IMO , I'd rate this one a overall 6 . I've had so many tanks that were so disappointing but this one does have good medium airflow ,vapor and flavor. I find it very easy to build on , has a dripper cap and SS tank section too! The hybrid nut does not work, as it was an oversight during cloning and is not threaded. 20 x 1 threaded mods are supposed to hybrid with this but my 20x1 Vanilla mod that I purchased it for will not do it safely because one must unscrew the center pin to the point that it is loose to reach the battery top, to the point that it is too risky that it will fall out and short inside the mod (So PLEASE, don't risk that). So, being a large atty, I put it on my shortest mod, the 4nine instead. It looks and works great. The air hole cannot be unobstructed completely because the tank sleeve needs some of that space to thread and hangs over the hole.
I bought this for my wife to use because of how happy I've been with mine. I bought an authentic one about a month and a half ago and it is my favorite RTA. So, when I got this one at literally 1/10th the price I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm pleased to say that I am very impressed. It is obviously not quite as nice/well built as the authentic - but it is WAY closer than the price would suggest. I've had 0 issues with it. Works flawlessly and my wife LOVES it!
I got this when it was on sale and man was it worth every penny. I think the best part about this device is that it gives you options. It can be both a tank and a dripper. It gives me the ability to switch whenever I feel like it and its very easy to use once you get everything down. You can just take the tank off and put the dripper attachment on or vice versa.
The airflow is great. I saw a video of someone modding theirs to give more airflow but I don't really think its needed. When in tank mode you just screw or unscrew to adjust the airflow. The dripper attachment has more airflow options with two slits on the side along with the bottom giving you various ways to adjust the airflow to how much or little you'd like. Great for sub ohming and it hits like a dream. I also like that it comes with both stainless or clear plastic tanks. Also be sure to look up the best way to wick because it makes a difference. Just thread your cotton and snip at an angle so part of the cotton is just a little longer and can fit right into juice wells.
My first set up was a dual coil with 28g wire and Japanese Cotton at .7ohms and I really couldnt ask for more. Oh and even if you don't want to build dual coils you can easily run single coils on it. If you build a single coil you can use one of the provided extra screws to fill up the second air hole on the build deck where your second coil would be. But be sure to put some cotton in place of a second coil so it kind of sits in the juice wells and plugs it up so it won't flood.
For the price you get a lot to play with and I would recommend this to anybody looking for a new RTA/RDA. Its just got so much going for it and a lot of options. Tank, dripper, dual coil or single, stainless or clear tank
This Aqua V2 has so far been overlooked because of the Kayfun V4 and truthfully it is everything the Kayfun 4 should have been. I am a pretty advanced vaper but more than that I buy every new vaping gizmo that comes out , its a problem. That said , I have pretty much every RTA that has ever been made and I have 3 of these , one being the authentic.
The simplicity of this rta is its genius! The flavor on it is exceptional , if someone tells you different , they are not wicking it properly or they are not wrapping their coils at the right diameter for this rta . There is plenty of airflow if you like to subohm and all and all it is one of the very best tanks to be had right now. The value on this particular one is incredible. This is a homerun and autobuy! If you are looking for that tank to use while your driving or whatever , I used to point people in the direction of the GP Heron which I still love but this Aqua V2 has taken over. Don't miss this one!
I wish the base was just a solid 510 instead of the 20x1
Was a little hard to build 30g kanthal post screws were too tight and unscrewed the posts will take some work to getr the little hole aligned to the wired might just use the screws instead, other than it unscrewing in places you don't want unscrewed, like the bottom cap, I like it a lot, not a killer vape like the fogger but enjoyable the only time it leaked is when I tried the dripper mode, never used a dripper before was very pleasantly surprised, still don't go for the constant filling of a dripper but it WAS a great vape
Overall this is a killer deal for a well constructed clone. Everything fits nicely, the machining is excellent, especially for a clone. The only downside I can see is the clear tank, not sure if it's polycarbonate or acrylic, started to crack, just tiny hairline fractures like antique glass, when I was Kiwi-Melon e-juice. The cracks look like cracked mud after it dries and are only on the inside surface of the tank. I am still able to use the clear tank but will have to be careful about what kind of e-juice I use it it.
Thankfully this set includes the stainless tank and the dripper tank which actually works quite well. The combination of the side air slots and the under-coil airflow make for nice flavor and clouds.
OK....Here we go. First off, don't BUY an RBA or Dripper if you Do NOT have the experience to be using them. I see reviews too often that people are complaining about things they SHOULDN'T be complaining about. One example of a review that I recently read HERE on AngelCigs. The man complained that the Factory Build that came on the RBA had a short, and wouldn't work for him!! REALLY!!?? They never work! What a wasted review. Anyways....THIS will be short. BUY THIS TANK! It is a AWESOME tank, and looks phenomenal for the money you are going to spend on it! Yea! As the man in the other review on this stated "IT wobbles" Well if you understood the design of this tank, would KNOW that there's going to be a slight movement with it. I HAVE THE AUTHENTIC! Same thing with it. Compared to the money your spending on an Authentic....This tank is Truly an Amazing Deal! The threads are not bad.....I purchased 2...Same quality with both. I have built this little baby down to .2 and she wicks like a monster!!! NO Dry Hits! It's a game changer to me. Blows a KFun away! There is No comparison. The other reviewer complained that there's not enough airflow....Bologna! I'm running a duel coil....7wrap around a 3/32 drill bit...with no resistance wire...totaling .21....Wicks NO Problem!! You do NOT wick this like an Orchid! The wicks MUST go down through the channels to pull juice from the base. It Wicks Wonderful ! I chain Vape at .20 and I Never have a dry hit. At that resistance it's a hot/wet vape....Just how I Like. BUY THIS TANK! You will NOT regret it.
Large Wick Channels
AirFlow Control Actual Works Good
Does Not Leak or gurgle
first thing is i try to be honest in all my reviews because i don't like sellers who are not up front and honest with there buyers, that being said , i am what you would call a advanced vaper , i been vaping for quite some time now and i know good products from bad,
the tank it wobbles on the base and the threads on this are not the greatest filling it is easy but you a need a needle bottle or something similar, you will have to wick this just like you do the orchid or you will get dry hits, the rda part of this is very good wide open draw to pretty tight and the flavor is good too on the tank part flavor is ok.
i put a few builds in this and the tank part is happy at 0.6 ohms or higher below that wicks can't seem to keep up, rda part well you can put as low as you want, thick juice don't do as good as the thinner so keep your vg to about 70 or lower and you should be fine, also i put 24 gauge wire in mine thicker then that you will have to drill it out,
i would not buy this again and I hope none of you do either save your money and wait for something better from a better manufacturer like ehpro or hcigar you will not like it
